Roof Repair due to Microbial Growth
An attic inspection revealed microbial growth in attic space. Little to no ventilation existed and further investigation showed the air intake vents (bird blocks) were blocked with insulation. We also discovered a disconnected a flex tube leading to a bathroom fan. We removed the plywood, some insulation and added baffles, two more intake vents and reroofed the area with new plywood, underlayment, step flashings and shingles.
